Robert R. "Bob" Tucker
This week marks the start of another fiscal year for Rotary International and our Rotary Club of Nauset (Orleans). In so many ways, our club owes its continued existence to our "Past President" Bob Tucker, who has been a member for the last 39 years and our dedicated leader for several years
Bob joined the Rotary Club of Orleans thirty-nine years ago on January 12, 1987, with a classification of "Photography. Five years later, he served as Club President in 1992/93 when the club membership exceeded 50 members representing many of the businesses in the Nauset communities of Brewster, Eastham, and Orleans. In the following years, he served as club photographer and graphics producer. In 2016/17, he served as Club President for the second time. Following that year Bob acted as the District 7950 Assistant District Governor for the Cape and Islands. Bob is also a multiple Paul Harris Fellow (+6).
Since 2020/21, Bob has led the club in five of the last six years with near-perfect attendance. Our members appreciate Bob's dedicated leadership and dedication to 'Club Service" for so many years. We hope he finally gets to enjoy the Nauset Rotary rocking chair we gave him!
